LOVE & MERCY in ACTION!!

To have the mind of Christ and show His Love and Compassion ...
yes, these young people KNOW GOD and they are living, breathing sermons in these moments! Not just to the one being prayed for but to all those who were witnesses.

‘We got this’: Photo of coffee stand workers praying with grieving customer goes viral
Fox8.com report:
VANCOUVER, Wash. -- A photo of workers at a Washington state coffee shop is going viral for all the right reasons.

A customer in line at a Dutch Bros. coffee stand in Vancouver captured the emotional moment on Saturday. The photo shows several baristas grabbing a customer's hand and praying with her.

"She's like, 'She's just having a really bad day. Her husband passed.' And as soon as she said that, I was like, 'There's nothing more you need to say. We got this. We're going to do what we do every time we get someone who’s in pain or hurt. We're going to give them our love,'" barista Evan Freeman told KPTV.

Freeman and his coworker Pierce Dunn offered her a free drink and a moment of comfort.

The customer behind that car, Barbara Danner, shared the photo on the Dutch Bros. Facebook page with this caption:

"Snapped this picture while waiting in line at the Dutch Bros on 138th Avenue today. Turns out the young lady in line ahead of us lost her 37-year-old husband last night. When the DB guys & gals noticed she was falling apart, they stopped everything and prayed with her for several minutes, invited her to come back for prayer and support, as well as anything else that she might need. Prayers for the young family, and you know where to stop for coffee!"

In these days of evil and cold-hearted people, it does my heart good to be able to share this very special moment! There are many scriptures that come to mind but I am going with this one as the theme to this ...

James 1: 27

Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

Be Blessed!

Do NOT Take God's Place on the Throne!!

Please keep your eyes open and your spirit man listening to the guiding of Holy Spirit! Do not make the same mistake that Satan made. Here is some information from various internet searches. These are on search engine optimization (SEO) so have no link per se. I searched google for the phrase "Satan thought he was better than God" and the following were in the results:

God created Lucifer (Ezekiel 28:13, 15), a beautiful, shining angel who was a leader in heaven (Ezekiel 28:14; Psalms 99:1). One day, Lucifer began to think more highly of himself than he should (Ezekiel 28:17), and he began to question God's authority in his life.
A cosmic battle ensued in which Michael's legions ousted Lucifer's and the fallen angels were cast out of heaven into Hell. Lucifer is transformed into Satan, the Devil, following his fall from grace.
Since Satan is referred to as a star which fell or was cast down to earth, and Revelation 12:4 says a third of the stars were cast out with him, then the conclusion is that the stars in Revelation 12 refer to fallen angels, fully one third of the heavenly host.
Lucifer did not wish to subordinate himself to God. He dreamed of becoming equal to Him and lured away part of the angels to follow him in his struggle against God.

There is a difference between judgement and discernment. God judges ... not us! What I have seen many calling discernment, and misquoting scriptures to support their words of condemnation, is actually people taking God's place on the throne and pronouncing judgement!

Matthew 7:2
“For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.”

Abba, Father, please forgive him / her and any that speak out in judgement, they know not what they do. May we seek to have the mind of Christ and love as Jesus loves. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen!

Please be careful what you speak, the Pharisees accused Jesus of working with the devil, remember?

Matthew 12:22-30
A House Divided Cannot Stand
22 Then one was brought to Him who was demon-possessed, blind and mute; and He healed him, so that the blind and mute man both spoke and saw. 23 And all the multitudes were amazed and said, “Could this be the Son of David?”

24 Now when the Pharisees heard it they said, “This fellow does not cast out demons except by Beelzebub, the ruler of the demons.”

25 But Jesus knew their thoughts, and said to them: “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand. 26 If Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then will his kingdom stand? 27 And if I cast out demons by Beelzebub, by whom do your sons cast them out? Therefore they shall be your judges. 28 But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you. 29 Or how can one enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man? And then he will plunder his house. 30 He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad.

In His service,
Anna

Reject the CLOUD OF UNCONSCIOUSNESS ...

spread over this nation!

"Things will continue on as usual. Nothing will change." This is the way many people feel. Do not let the Master come as a thief in the night and catch you UNAWARE!!! 1 Thessalonians 5:1-4

Throw off the Yoke of Complacency! You have a choice on what you allow and don't allow in the way of feelings. Fight this off with the Word! Renounce it! Kindle Jesus' Words of FAITH in your heart! This web of complacency is being held in place in America by the media to lull Americans into a deep sleep.

Only those who are aware of Scripture and the End Times are convinced that at any moment life on this planet will be changed irreparably. They are laughed and scoffed at for being ignorant but, in truth, it is the ones who are not paying attention that are the uninformed! These will be caught just as unaware as those in Noah's day; when the fountains of the deep opened up beneath them and they had nowhere to go.

Our nation is very fragile and vulnerable! Please wake up and see that we have been rocked by a lullaby ... WE ARE NOT the USA of strength and power as we once were! Laid across the earth like a web is the lie that man has millions of years to work out his problems. Total Lies!

As In The Day of Noah ... Jesus will come in the clouds to catch us away SUDDENLY!!!

Peace Be Unto You!
Anna

Matthew 24:37-39 (KJV)
37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17  (KJV)
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Please ... Seek God's Wisdom on This!

We need to focus on what God wants us to claim, not on the temporal rewards that the “prosperity gospel” tells us to claim.

10 Bible Verses Prosperity Gospel Preachers Need to Stop Misusing

Have you run across anything like the following?
Statement of Beliefs - Total Redemption:
1.  Spiritual - John 3:3; Romans 10:9-10(b); and 2 Corinthians 5:17-21; and
2.   Mental - Isaiah 26:3-4(c); Romans 12:1-2; 2 Timothy 1:7; and
3.   Physical - Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:17; and 1 Peter 2:24;
4.   Financial - Deuteronomy 28:1-14; Malachi 3:10-11; Luke 6:38; 2 Corinthians 9:6-10; and 3 John 1:2; and
5.   Social - Proverbs 3:4-10

Whenever I have seen something along these lines, there has been an immediate check in my spirit that this is not what God intended. Trust me, Satan has been around a long time and, as the god of this world, he will twist God's Word to suit his ends. He will try to sell us a bill of goods based on what our FLESH wants! The devil had the gall to go to Jesus (while He was in the wilderness) to tempt Him. In case you have forgotten, Jesus quoted the scriptures - showing their proper meaning - right back at him and then told the devil to get away from Him and Satan left. See Matthew 4:1-11Therefore, if you or your church stand by the above position shown in red, please pray and ask for God's Wisdom in this.

I promised the Lord that I would do His Will His Way. I do not shirk what has been put on my heart because it is an unpopular stand for me to take or for others to hear. This is what I claim:
Joy in the suffering James 1:2
Peace in tribulation John 16:33
Faith in a better world to come Hebrews 11:16
God's character in my life through the Fruit of the Spirit Galatians 5:22-23
I do not store up my treasures on earth Matthew 6:19

Time is truly short. Be at peace. Search your hearts. Seek God's perfect will. Stand in the gap in repentance for the sins of the world.

Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

Peace be unto you,
Anna

OJT & Prayer Needs

We are in OJT ... On the Job Training! Once you are saved [by ADMITTING you are a sinner, BELIEVING in Jesus and CONFESSING that Jesus is your Lord], you need to grow in maturity. Learn more of Him. Seek His face. Spend time with Him. You were always in the WAR, you were just blind to it. Now, ask that your eyes be opened so that you are a good soldier in God's Army. Here are important things to know and do. Hear and Obey: Luke 11:28 But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.

Many people do not really understand the Importance of the Armor! Our Armor of God does not put itself on automatically. We must make a conscious decision to put it on. When we do, our Guardian Angel is also garbed in the armor. If you don't put on the armor, your Angel does not have it on either! How can the Angel assigned to you be effective if you neglect the armor meant to protect you both?!!

Learn to hear Holy Spirit - He comes to us in 'the still small voice.' If we aren't quiet before Him and listening ... we will miss it. He wants to speak to each of us. We are all unique and He has things for us to know about ourselves and He will give us direction to stay on the right path. Jesus comes to us this way as well. He longs to have fellowship with each of us. Let us draw close to each person of the Triune Godhead! We need to be available and agreeable to developing deeper relationships with God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit!

2 Corinthians 10:4 (NKJV)
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,

Ephesians 6:10-18 (NKJV)
The Whole Armor of God
I have looked but cannot find the url for this picture. I think on Pinterest. If anyone knows, please comment so I can give credit for Fair Use - Teaching.

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—

So much is at the tipping point right now. We all need to be in prayer especially repenting for the following Sins of the World:

  • Child Trafficking
  • Abortion
  • Drug Abuse
  • Government Exploitation
  • Mass Destruction of the Planet

Please bring the lost before the Father and beg Him for Mercy. God is merciful and we can intercede by bringing others before Him. Yes, even these that are involved in sinful and horrendous actions: NONE of us deserve Salvation! If we do not forgive them for their actions, neither will we be forgiven. We have the privilege to stand in the gap for others. Let us love as Jesus' loves. In doing this, let our hands be clean of blood before Jesus - don't soil them with judgement.

Mother's Prayers

Of all the prayers for the children, it is the prayers from the Mother's Heart that are the most important. That your children, if they are of the Age of Accountability or older, will not be left behind: please continue to pray for them. Don't give up on praying.

Choose the Narrow Road
There are many roads before us everyday. Always choose the NARROW one. Always!

Truth & Wisdom in just under 7 Minutes!!!!

It appears the man speaking in this video is named Marcus Rogers ... it doesn't matter what his name is really ... what is important is that he is speaking the total truth and is on FIRE for the Lord! You can feel it: you can hear the wisdom and total honesty! He held nothing back but BOLDLY proclaimed the TRUTH!

Nothing needs to be added to this video except my endorsement that it is true, timely, and I am sharing it that All that watch it will gain wisdom and focus on the things that DO MATTER!

Philippians 4:8 (KJV)

8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Peace Be Unto You

Abandonment to Jesus

Rest in the Peace Jesus gives you! We are to keep our eyes on Jesus. Do not focus on Time. Time does not mean anything. If you are not already doing work for the Lord, get to work … whatever you begin for Jesus, He will finish for you. Either here on Earth or in Heaven. Nothing we undertake now will be in vain. Nothing - for His Word never returns to Him void (Isaiah 55:11). Follow your inspirations with love and passion. Live for Jesus and not for the world. Be alive and on the cutting edge: Jesus has taught us to produce at a high level. Immerse yourself in partnership with Holy Spirit. Work in freedom and complete abandon – free as birds (who don’t regard Time) – to create and do the things that are on your heart.

We have all seriously contemplated our end, be it death or translation into Heaven, but ultimately face-to-face with Jesus. When thinking on doing something, ask yourself "Will this be something I'll be proud of when I die?"

Jesus will come when He comes. His people and His Bride have been asleep in the arms of the world. He has shown us our end. We have rallied. We are in a position to accomplish much more for Jesus. We are operating at optimum levels and should continue without an eye on the clock. We are now at a level of productivity that we have never known. That IS as it should be! Don’t drop back. Keep the pace to Finish the Race. Let the pressure of Time be replaced with the Peace Jesus gives us. We will indeed be about our Father’s business when Jesus comes without anxiety over the timing.

Acts 17:28 (KJV)
For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

Time is an illusion and it is totally in Jesus' hands. He does not want us to be under the yoke of time. Rather He wants us to live, serve and create freely without this eroding fear of time running out constantly nipping at our heels.

Forget Time and Get To Work
Continue producing for Jesus in Abandonment to Him. Rest in the palms of Jesus' hands (Isaiah 49:16). Stop counting the days and looking at the clock. Great will be our reward when He comes.

Peace Be Unto You,
Anna

"Finish the Race ...

look neither to the left or the right, do not wander or waste time, be about My business when I come for you." †Jesus

“7 And some fell among thorns, and the thorns sprang up with it and choked it. Luke 8:7 NKJV
(Imagine thorns as weeds in your garden.)
If you are always on the go and you can’t hear God, you are facing the barrier of busyness. Often we confuse busyness with productivity and they aren’t the same thing. If you keep going, going, going but you aren’t spiritually growing, growing, growing, you are busy, not productive. Hear God - Eliminate the Distractions - link

2 Timothy 4:7 (KJV) I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

This is a short blog post. It is for YOU to take time seeking how to finish the race that is set before you. Take a look at the moments in your day(s). Determine where and what you spend you time on. That is where your heart is. Examine your heart, let to of those things that are not of the Lord, cleave to Him in sincerity and completely repent of those things not done for Him. If anything is in the darkness, renounce it and ask Jesus for help in your weakness to this stumbling block.

If any one took exception to the last blog about who will be taken in the rapture, here are some scriptures that may answer questions. Either way, God's thoughts are not our thoughts. His ways are not our ways.
Isaiah 55:8-9 (NKJV)
8 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord.
9 “For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts.
Seriously consider this: Our opinion isn't in the equation, folks!! We think too highly of ourselves if we believe our opinion is important. However, we are allowed to ask for Wisdom from God and He said He will give liberally.
James 1:5
5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

Eleventh hour grace: scripture reference for 'last-minute conversions'.

Romans 9:15 (KJV)
For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.
Matthew 20:14 '...I wish to give to this last man the same as to you.'
Deathbed converts and lifelong saints enter Heaven by the same gate. They don’t enjoy the same reward, but they’re saved by the same grace. Do you think that this is unfair? That those that come to work in the last hour will be given the same saving Grace as the longtime worker? Jesus says,
Matthew 20:15 'Is it not lawful for me to do what I wish with my own things? Or is your eye evil because I am good?’

Rhema Words:
Ambition
Philippians 2:3-4 (NKJV)
3 Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. 4 Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.
Obeying God
John 3:36 (NKJV)
36 He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”
Confessing Sin
1 John 1:9 (NKJV)
9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Isaiah 40:30-31

Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Peace Be Unto You,

The Heavenly Places: Third of 3 Battlegrounds

The dimension of the Heavenly Places is known today as the spirit realm. It is here that battles take place involving angels and demons as they are engaged in warfare for our cities. It is also 'enemy territory' at this time ... this is NOT a place to enter into without being fully trained, equipped and called to this spiritual battle. The authority we have in this place depends on how much our heart is like Jesus' heart.

Personal experience has taught me that God's wisdom and discernment is crucial before, during and after these battles.

The battles are not only done by a church or a body of believers but also by individual warriors and intercessors that God has placed in strategic locations.
Some individuals have been given assignments to break the strongholds and the chains held by certain demon entities. This is totally God's call to make and no one should be so prideful as to determine their own battleground and plan of attack. That way will surely lead to your fall and perhaps worse. Always seek God and His wisdom. He has angels that He will send with you as well. He is the General! Let us be like the chosen 300 of Gideon's warriors (Judges 7:6-7) ... always vigilant ... never putting down our weapons or taking our eyes off our surroundings ... drinking from the river with water in our hands that we lap up so we will stay watchful and ready at all times.

I will be the first to admit that the more God teaches me, the more I realize how very little I know! Please do not think, by this short blog, that you are ready and equipped for spiritual battles. That is so very far from the truth! We are only victorious and safe when we reside in God's presence! He is our strong tower and protection Psalm 91 - Safety of Abiding in the Presence of God

In addition, I would like to say that God has never sent me into any battle without my agreement first and He always provides someone to watch my back. This is also by the choice of the person willing to battle on God's side with me. We are truly given free will in all things. I cannot thank enough all those who agreed to battle alongside me over the years.

Rhema Words for today:

- Heaven Revelation 2:7 (KJV)
7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
- New Birth, New Life Galatians 2:20 (KJV)
20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
- God's Love for Us Romans 5:5, 8-11
5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

In closing, I would like to recommend this reading material one last time. It is an excellent book on the three arenas of spiritual warfare: the mind, the church and the heavenly places.

If the last three blog posts (which includes this one) that lightly touch on the 3 Battlegrounds have you thinking then this is where you can learn more! It is not a huge book in the amount of pages. It is, however, a huge book in the amount of teachings on its pages. There is too much information you need for me to equip you here. Excellent Reading!!!

The Church: Second of 3 Battlegrounds

No ... I Did NOT Say That Other Churches Are Our Battleground!

The first thing I want to make clear here is that other born-again congregations are not our enemies! We must fight against illusions and jealousies that are sent from hell to divide His Children. Satan is constantly fighting against our 'oneness in Christ' ... because the Jesus-built church will destroy his unholy empire.

Before the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God (Eph 6:17) can be released through our words and prayers ... it must first pass through our hearts. During this time, we are being made fit for battle. Jesus' boot camp, if you will, to make us into fearless Warriors in His army. Most of us have been spoiled and pampered and have no concept of the battle field and what is required there.

We are not prepared for warfare that is already here in these last days nor for the final rages of Satan as his time runs out (Rev 12:12). I don't know how many of you are even prepared to see Jesus as the Warrior King with His Sword Drawn and a war cry on His lips (Isaiah 42:13). Do not be afraid, for this is the same Jesus that willingly died on the cross because of His Great Love for you!

The wilderness you may have found yourself in is not for punishment. It is a season of preparation and of learning obedience. After this training, we walk in the fear of God and are not blinded by the sin of presumption. I have taken part in spiritual battles. Yet to prepare for the Last Days, He has placed me in the wilderness for a few years now. Why? To equip me for the battles that He will lead me into. If He will use me for battle ... how much more can He use you -- if you are willing? Before Christ returns, He will be revealed to His Warriors as The Captain of the Host. Will you be ready to follow wherever He goes?
Joshua 5:14-15 (KJV)
14 And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant?
15 And the captain of the LORD'S host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so.

Satan knows that a church divided against itself cannot stand. Without Love there is no lasting victory because there is no true spiritual unity. The spiritual warfare that has come against the church is one where a root of bitterness (Heb 12:15) has been allowed to come into the body. This bitterness does not have to be much for it to choke out love and let the demonic world have unhindered access. This is a stronghold of Cold Love. We must love as Jesus loves and forgive others as we have been forgiven! There is no other way to break the chains of this stronghold in each of our hearts! If we do not have love and forgiveness ... we have lost the battle without even entering the war.

Rhema Words:
Comfort in Times of Trouble
Revelation 21:1-5 (NKJV)
All Things Made New
21:1 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. 2 Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”5 Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me,“Write, for these words are true and faithful.”
Pride and Conceit
Proverbs 13:10 (NKJV)
10 By pride comes nothing but strife,
But with the well-advised is wisdom.
God's Mercy
Matthew 18:23-35 (NKJV)
23 Therefore the kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants. 24 And when he had begun to settle accounts, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents. 25 But as he was not able to pay, his master commanded that he be sold, with his wife and children and all that he had, and that payment be made. 26 The servant therefore fell down before him, saying, ‘Master, have patience with me, and I will pay you all.’ 27 Then the master of that servant was moved with compassion, released him, and forgave him the debt. 28 “But that servant went out and found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii; and he laid hands on him and took him by the throat, saying, ‘Pay me what you owe!’ 29 So his fellow servant fell down at his feet and begged him, saying, ‘Have patience with me, and I will pay you all.’ 30 And he would not, but went and threw him into prison till he should pay the debt. 31 So when his fellow servants saw what had been done, they were very grieved, and came and told their master all that had been done. 32 Then his master, after he had called him, said to him, ‘You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt because you begged me. 33 Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant, just as I had pity on you?’ 34 And his master was angry, and delivered him to the torturers until he should pay all that was due to him. 35 “So My heavenly Father also will do to you if each of you, from his heart, does not forgive his brother his trespasses.”

In closing, I would again like to recommend this reading material. It is an excellent book on the three arenas of spiritual warfare: the mind, the church and the heavenly places.

The Mind: First of 3 Battlegrounds

It doesn't matter how long you have been saved or your age ... we all need to be innocent, have humility, gain discernment and ask for wisdom, living by faith in order to start to be prepared. We must be sure not to think too highly of ourselves. Humility will keep Satan from getting a hold of us through Pride. Our innocence will help us with discernment that God can supply. We must have wisdom because our foe has been around for a long time. It does not mean we cannot win or that we should not engage in spiritual battle -- only that we need God's wisdom.

You many be saying to yourself ... I don't need this! I don't do spiritual battle and I never will. Ah, be careful of those thoughts. They can surely land you in hot water. When you realized and admitted you are a sinner and accepted Jesus' atonement for your sins, you stepped onto the battlefield. There is no 'Neutrality' here! You chose and now your enemy will step up his game to try to bring you down and back to his side and his horribly desolate future.

Do not despair because you belong to Jesus now and not to Satan. Grow into your Faith in God as you learn to stand on the solid rock and hide in the shelter He provides. An excellent start is praying Psalm 91. You will feel the Power, the Presence, all God's Omnipotence, as you read these scripture verses aloud. Put on your armor every day (Eph. 6:10-18) and get this Word deep into your spirit man:
Ephesians 6:12
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

So let us start by deciding we WILL take control of our thoughts. Bringing them into submission to have the mind of Christ. Asking Jesus and Holy Spirit to help us in our weakness. Guarding our hearts, watching our words, and thinking above our daily circumstances is a great start on the road to becoming more like Jesus. Remember, do not get puffed up with Pride on your journey. Stay humble and loving and watch your Faith grow each moment!

Philippians 4:8 (NKJV)
Meditate on These Things
8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

If you are at a loss as to how to start taking control of your thought life, here are some excellent quotes that can help you. Think on them as a group or one by one. I am sure, when you find your mind drifting, that any one of these would help you bring your thoughts back into line.

Jesus' Second Coming:
Philippians 3:20-21 (NKJV)
20 For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,
21 who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.

God is Judge:
Jeremiah 17:9-10 (NKJV)
9 “The heart is deceitful above all things,
And desperately wicked;
Who can know it?
10 I, the Lord, search the heart,
I test the mind,
Even to give every man according to his ways,
According to the fruit of his doings.

Instructions to the Rich
17 Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy.

In closing, I would like to recommend some reading material. There is an excellent book on the three arenas of spiritual warfare: the mind, the church and the heavenly places.
'The Three Battlegrounds'
by Francis Frangipane
I had read this book many years ago and, with moving, downsizing and whatnot over the years: I was led to find it and purchase it again. It is a revised edition from the original I bought so many years ago. Excellent Reading!!!

Peace be unto you,
Anna
