The Church: Second of 3 Battlegrounds

No ... I Did NOT Say That Other Churches Are Our Battleground!

The first thing I want to make clear here is that other born-again congregations are not our enemies! We must fight against illusions and jealousies that are sent from hell to divide His Children. Satan is constantly fighting against our 'oneness in Christ' ... because the Jesus-built church will destroy his unholy empire.

Before the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God (Eph 6:17) can be released through our words and prayers ... it must first pass through our hearts. During this time, we are being made fit for battle. Jesus' boot camp, if you will, to make us into fearless Warriors in His army. Most of us have been spoiled and pampered and have no concept of the battle field and what is required there.

We are not prepared for warfare that is already here in these last days nor for the final rages of Satan as his time runs out (Rev 12:12). I don't know how many of you are even prepared to see Jesus as the Warrior King with His Sword Drawn and a war cry on His lips (Isaiah 42:13). Do not be afraid, for this is the same Jesus that willingly died on the cross because of His Great Love for you!

The wilderness you may have found yourself in is not for punishment. It is a season of preparation and of learning obedience. After this training, we walk in the fear of God and are not blinded by the sin of presumption. I have taken part in spiritual battles. Yet to prepare for the Last Days, He has placed me in the wilderness for a few years now. Why? To equip me for the battles that He will lead me into. If He will use me for battle ... how much more can He use you -- if you are willing? Before Christ returns, He will be revealed to His Warriors as The Captain of the Host. Will you be ready to follow wherever He goes?
Joshua 5:14-15 (KJV)
14 And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant?
15 And the captain of the LORD'S host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so.

Satan knows that a church divided against itself cannot stand. Without Love there is no lasting victory because there is no true spiritual unity. The spiritual warfare that has come against the church is one where a root of bitterness (Heb 12:15) has been allowed to come into the body. This bitterness does not have to be much for it to choke out love and let the demonic world have unhindered access. This is a stronghold of Cold Love. We must love as Jesus loves and forgive others as we have been forgiven! There is no other way to break the chains of this stronghold in each of our hearts! If we do not have love and forgiveness ... we have lost the battle without even entering the war.

Rhema Words:
Comfort in Times of Trouble
Revelation 21:1-5 (NKJV)
All Things Made New
21:1 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. 2 Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”5 Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me,“Write, for these words are true and faithful.”
Pride and Conceit
Proverbs 13:10 (NKJV)
10 By pride comes nothing but strife,
But with the well-advised is wisdom.
God's Mercy
Matthew 18:23-35 (NKJV)
23 Therefore the kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants. 24 And when he had begun to settle accounts, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents. 25 But as he was not able to pay, his master commanded that he be sold, with his wife and children and all that he had, and that payment be made. 26 The servant therefore fell down before him, saying, ‘Master, have patience with me, and I will pay you all.’ 27 Then the master of that servant was moved with compassion, released him, and forgave him the debt. 28 “But that servant went out and found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii; and he laid hands on him and took him by the throat, saying, ‘Pay me what you owe!’ 29 So his fellow servant fell down at his feet and begged him, saying, ‘Have patience with me, and I will pay you all.’ 30 And he would not, but went and threw him into prison till he should pay the debt. 31 So when his fellow servants saw what had been done, they were very grieved, and came and told their master all that had been done. 32 Then his master, after he had called him, said to him, ‘You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt because you begged me. 33 Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant, just as I had pity on you?’ 34 And his master was angry, and delivered him to the torturers until he should pay all that was due to him. 35 “So My heavenly Father also will do to you if each of you, from his heart, does not forgive his brother his trespasses.”

In closing, I would again like to recommend this reading material. It is an excellent book on the three arenas of spiritual warfare: the mind, the church and the heavenly places.
