Don't Feed The Dragon

... make it smaller and smaller by not talking about it..

Amanda Grace Talks ... Letting Go Of Buried Issues, Trials Becoming Testimonies, & Healing!

Youtube 'Ark of Grace Ministries' channel

Amanda Grace discusses what she heard the Lord say in the Spirit and an image of a snake coiled around a dead piece of wood. She also discusses her personal; testimony, how broken she was, and how the Lord restored her after she was beyond recognition. Amanda shows the picture of what she looked like going through this trial for the first time publicly. The Lord truly took an aweful trial ad turned it into an incredible testimony!! Don’t give up! You are closer than you think to your Breakthrough!! God Bless you all!! If you would like to contact Amanda Grace via email please email her at amandagrace4him@gmail.com if you have questions or comments or would like more information into sowing into what she does!

I was watching the video that is linked above and I know that I needed to hear this. It is a timely word so I am sharing it with whomsoever will be willing to hear it and obey. Obedience is better than sacrifice!

What is highlighted in my heart at this moment is:

Speak the PROMISE don't speak the problem! Let it go. It is dead wood and needs to be removed from your life because it is causing damage as long as it is there. The dragon is the problem. Suffocate it. Don't give it air. Speak scriptures.

Make a joyful noise unto the Lord!

I will enter your gates with thanksgiving in my heart. I will enter your courts with praise! I will say this is the day that the Lord has made. I will rejoice for He has made me glad! He has made me glad, He has made me glad, I will rejoice for He has made me glad!

I pray this is a blessing to you!

An Amazing Man of God ...

[Original publish date: 6/26/20]

Went Home to Jesus yesterday, June 25, 2020.

I met William (Brother Billy) Forrest 53 weeks and 6 days ago. My best friend of 37 years and I went to lunch at Denny's & invited an older gentleman from her daughter's church to eat with us. Little did I know how that one lunch meeting would change my life!

Brother Billy's wife, Christine, went home to be with the Lord on December 31, 2010. He told us that it was 8 years, 6 months, and 13 days since she left him. During our lunch conversation it was revealed that Brother Billy and his Christine met in school. She was the only girl that Brother Billy ever kissed on the lips! After graduation, they married and started out as share croppers with $100 to their name. Brother Billy became a preacher and started churches in Georgia. Brother Billy said his Christine taught him the value of saving, so they always put a little back. He played guitar, self taught, and sang! It was always a joyful time to hear him play and sing! He always sang to Christine each night before he would go to sleep.

I have never seen a mortal love so deep as the one that Brother Billy shared with his wife, Christine! The purity of his love for her and hers for him will stay with me for the rest of my life and beyond! Yes, Jesus loves me unconditionally and nothing compares to that love! Brother Billy would totally agree!
Tammie and I went to visit Brother Billy last Saturday, June 20th. It was 53 weeks to the day since I first met him. Brother Billy joined in as he could when we sang these songs:
Power in the Blood,
Yes, Lord, Yes,
I'll Fly Away
When We All Get To Heaven
Amazing Grace
After worship in song, Brother Billy led all of us that were there in Communion. It was a wonderful time! I knew that this would be the last time I would see Brother Billy this side of Heaven! He passed away 4 days later. I cannot be sad ... he finished the race ... loving Jesus with his whole heart, mind, soul, and strength!

I just wanted to do a quick blog post to honor the man that the Lord allowed me to meet and gave me the privilege and honor to minister to through prayer cards and letters. I pray for a special anointing of Salvation on those cards and letters! That anyone that touches them or reads them will feel a mighty call of Holy Spirit to accept Jesus as their Savior! I don't think he ever knew what a blessing he was to so many, myself included! Brother Billy, after 9 years, 6 months and 25 days: you went home to meet Jesus and are reunited with your beloved Christine! We will miss you very much but are so happy you are HOME now and free of pain!

Be encouraged everyone! Look to the Lord! Rely and Trust in Him! We are in the final seconds before Jesus' return, nothing is happening here that God hasn't allowed. Christians, this is as bad as it gets for us! We go in the Rapture before the Tribulation starts. If you aren't saved, you need to give your heart to Jesus while there is yet time!

UPDATE: I also did not know, until a couple of weeks later, that meeting with Brother Billy at his house to sing and take communion together would be the last time my BFF & I would do anything together face-to-face. I did reach out to her in a letter on July 10, 2020 but nothing came of it.  God knew how, why, and when this would happen. Trust in Him for everything!

Anna

Giving You All That I Am ...

With Lifted Hands - Ryan Stevenson

"With Lifted Hands"

I have tasted
All that this world has to offer
The here and gone
That leaves you wanting more
But can't satisfy

Father forgive me
For taking so long to see
That you're all I need

With every heartbeat in my chest
Lord I surrender all that I have
The days yet to come
The days in the past
I'm giving you all I am
With lifted hands
With lifted hands

You show me mercy
When I've done nothing to deserve it
You see the best in me beneath the dust
Because that's how you love
That's how you love

You rush through my veins
I'm wrecked and I'm changed
And my soul will sing

With every heartbeat in my chest
Lord I surrender all that I have
The days yet to come
The days in the past
I'm giving you all I am
With lifted hands
With lifted hands

Heaven or grave
There is no place
I can go to escape
Your love
Heaven or grave
There is no place
I can go to escape
Your love

So with every heartbeat in my chest
Lord I surrender all that I have
The days yet to come
And the days in the past
I'm giving you all, all that I am
I'm giving you all, all that I am
With lifted hands
With lifted hands
With lifted hands
With lifted hands
Heavenly Father,
I lift my hands to you in Praise and Worship. You are the great I AM! May everyone that Holy Spirit leads to this blog (and any of its posts) be blessed beyond measure. May they accept Jesus as their Savior and begin the supernatural discipleship journey! For those saved but lukewarm or wanting to give you more of themselves, I pray with them for your wisdom that they would know the meat of the Living Word and not continue on milk only. I pray Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven! In Jesus name, I ask. Amen!

Worship "in spirit and in truth" ...

Worship comes in many forms:
Prayer -- pray His word back to Him, praise and give thanks, listen to  music and sing, spend time in His presence, listen to Holy Spirit and renew your joy in the Lord. These are only a few ways, there are many more. Worship is not just for a corporate body of believers but it is also a personal and private experience between each of us and God!

“But the time is coming—indeed it’s here now—when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship Him that way.” –John 4:23

The good news is, you can worship God "in spirit and in truth" anywhere — and worship is a powerful spiritual exercise in any believer’s life.

What Does Worshiping ‘in Truth’ Mean?

“Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ” (Colossians 2:8, NKJV).
We do not worship as the world believes! Rather we focus on the message and the truth of Jesus Christ.
“Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts” (Colossians 3:16).

The Bible outlines seven different types of worship, and they are all appropriate, with each having its place. Let’s examine them:

Barak–To kneel, to bless God, to bow down -- Barak means to bow down to, or kneel before, the Lord. It communicates that the Lord holds a place of importance and helps us remember just how great He is. Barak is not done out of a begging attitude but rather an expectant attitude, because the Lord is more than willing and able to move on our behalf. Psalm 72:12-15

Halal–To be clear, to shine, to boast, to show, to rave, to celebrate, to be clamorously foolish -- Halal appears more than 110 times in the Old Testament. It translates as to shine, boast, rave about, celebrate or even to be clamorously foolish. Can you imagine a more wondrous noise raving about about all the Lord is and all He has done? 1 Chronicles 16:4

Shabach–To shout loudly, to command -- Shabach means to shout loudly or command. Of course, it isn’t simply about being loud. Its focus is to worship the Lord with one’s whole being. Psalm 47:1

Tehillah–To sing praises, singing out of the spirit spontaneously -- Tehillah means to sing unrehearsed, unplanned praises to the Lord. It can include adding words to an existing song or even singing in the spirit to the Lord. Psalm 22:3

Towdah–Extending hands, acting out of thanksgiving for what has or will be done -- Towdah is a type of worship that includes extending your hands or raising them in thanksgiving for something that has been done or will be done. Psalm 50:23

Yadah– Extending the hands vigourously -- Yadah means to extend your hands vigorously as in complete surrender. 2 Chronicles 20:21

Zamar – To touch the strings, to make music with instruments, mostly rejoicing -- Zamar means to touch the strings. It involves rejoicing and making music to the Lord. Psalm 150:3-6

Allow the Holy Spirit to speak to you about the seven ways to worship "in spirit and in truth."  Remember, praising God is to be on our lips, or spoken (Isaiah 57:19), and we are to do it continually as a sacrifice (Hebrews 13:15). God promises that when we praise and worship Him, He inhabits those praises (Psalm 22:3), and it gives us strength to defeat our enemy (Psalm 8:2)

There Was Jesus ...

When the life I built came crashing to the ground
When the friends I had were nowhere to be found
I couldn't see it then but I can see it now
There was Jesus

Zach Williams, Dolly Parton - There Was Jesus (Official Music Video)

There Was Jesus
Every time I tried to make it on my own
Every time I tried to stand and start to fall
All those lonely roads that I have travelled on
There was Jesus

When the life I built came crashing to the ground
When the friends I had were nowhere to be found
I couldn't see it then but I can see it now
There was Jesus

Chorus
In the waiting, in the searching
In the healing and the hurting
Like a blessing buried in the broken pieces
Every minute, every moment
Of where I been and where I'm going
Even when I didn't know it
Or couldn't see it
There was Jesus

For this man who needs amazing kind of grace
For forgiveness at a price I couldn’t pay
I’m not perfect so I thank God every day
There was Jesus

Chorus

On the mountain in the valleys (There was Jesus)
In the shadows of the alleys (There was Jesus)
In the fire, in the flood (There was Jesus)
Always is and always was I never walk alone

I don't know where you are walking today. Are you at peace? Are you worried? Are you hurting? Are you happy? It doesn't matter what state you find yourself during these chaotic times ... always remember ... THERE WAS JESUS!

In Revelation 2:4 , Jesus says to the church in Ephesus, “But I have this against you, that you have left your first love.”
It means “first in time or place; first in rank; first, at the first” (Strong's #4413 - πρῶτος - Old & New Testament Greek Lexicon ).

If this is where you find yourself, look to the Lord and return to your FIRST LOVE! If you don't know Jesus as your Savior, NOW is the best time to accept His sacrifice for YOU! This may be the very last time you hear this ... we are not promised our next breath ... so don't put it off!

Can You Measure Character ...

who we are when no one is looking? I used to think that was all character was!

I heard this said many years ago and it made an impression on me. What do I do, how do I act, what do I prioritize when I am alone and there is no one to see or know. I used to believe that with my whole heart.

Fast forward a few years to today and there is a much different reality that I have learned. Measurement of Character ... Jesus is my example. My good name is all I will take with me from this earthly life. Am I growing and becoming more like Jesus? Am I dying to self each day? God knows all I do, think and who I am because he is my Creator. Jesus is with me always! Holy Spirit lives in me! Angel(s) is/are assigned to me as God wills.

In the following verses the meaning of the word communication is from the Greek. LOGOS which is the spoken word: Strong's Concordance reference G3056.

How good is your word?

[Quote] All of us have, to one degree or another, been guilty of broken promises and half-hearted commitments. God's Word has much to say about the practice of making promises and rash commitments without calculating the cost.

» Numbers 30:2 (All scriptures from The Amplified Bible): If a man vows a vow to the LORD or swears an oath to bind himself by a pledge, he shall not break and profane his word: he shall do according to all that proceeds out of his mouth.

» Deuteronomy 23:23: The vow which has passed your lips you shall be watchful to perform. . . .

» Proverbs 20:25: It is a snare to a man to utter a vow [of consecration] and [not until] afterward inquire [whether he can fulfill it].

» Ecclesiastes 5:2, 4-6: Be not rash with your mouth, and let not your heart be hasty to utter a word before God: For God is in heaven, and you are on earth; therefore let your words be few. . . . When you vow a vow or make a pledge to God, do not put off paying it; for God has no pleasure in fools (those who witlessly mock him). Pay what you vow. It is better that you should not vow than that you should vow and not pay. Do not allow your mouth to cause your body to sin, and do not say before the messenger [the priest] that it was an error or mistake. Why should God be [made] angry at your voice and destroy the work of your hands?

The intent of the last part of this scripture is that the rash promise to complete something or bring something to fruition, which later cannot be delivered, makes the entire act a sin.

» Matthew 5:33-34, 37: Again, you have heard that it was said to the men of old, "You shall not swear falsely, but you shall perform your oaths to the Lord [as a religious duty]." But I tell you, "Do not bind yourselves by an oath at all. . . . Let your Yes be simply Yes, and your No be simply No: anything more than that comes from the evil one."

» James 5:12: But above all [things], my brethren, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or by any other oath; but let your yes be [a simple] yes, and your no be [a simple] no, so that you may not sin and fall under condemnation. [End Quote]

May our communication in words and our actions be pure, upright, without reproach and when we fail may we repent and ask forgiveness as soon as we are aware!

Maranatha,
Anna

Friends ...

Are friends forever, if the Lord's the Lord of them.

"Friends"

Packing up the dreams God planted
In the fertile soil of you
I can't believe the hopes He's granted
Means a chapter of your life is through

But we'll keep you close as always
It won't even seem you've gone
'Cause our hearts in big and small ways
Will keep the love that keeps us strong

And friends are friends forever
If the Lord's the Lord of them
And a friend will not say never
'Cause the welcome will not end
Though it's hard to let you go
In the Father's hands we know
That a lifetime's not too long
To live as friends

And with the faith and love God's given
Springing from the hope we know
We will pray the joy you live in
Is the strength that now you show

We'll keep you close as always
It won't even seem you've gone
'Cause our hearts in big and small ways
Will keep the love that keeps us strong

And friends are friends forever
If the Lord's the Lord of them
And a friend will not say never
'Cause the welcome will not end
Though it's hard to let you go
In the Father's hands we know
That a lifetime's not too long
To live as friends

And friends are friends forever
If the Lord's the Lord of them
And a friend will not say never
'Cause the welcome will not end
Though it's hard to let you go
In the Father's hands we know
That a lifetime's not too long
To live as friends

To live as friends

Though it's hard to let you go
In the Father's hands we know
That a lifetime's not too long
To live as friends

No a lifetime's not too long
To live as friends

💖🙏🏻💖🙏🏻💖🙏🏻💖🙏🏻💖🙏🏻💖🙏🏻💖🙏🏻💖🙏🏻💖🙏🏻
Sometimes, a lifetime ends sooner than we expected. God holds us close as He carries us in our weakness.

Jesus, you alone are my forever, unfailing friend!

A Completely Different Kind of Change ...

I am posting this sermon from yesterday, June 21, 2020 given at the Lutheran Church in Cartersville, GA. I have found, if I listen to different sermons, that Holy Spirit will teach me what God wants me to know at that moment. Therefore, I am not doing commentary on the sermon. I am providing a quote from Pastor Mike, links to watch the sermon and visit the church website. In addition, I have included the scriptures referenced. I encourage you to watch and apply it to your life so you are not only hearers of the Word but doers also! Be blessed today and everyday! Maranatha, Anna

"We've been brought from darkness to light. It isn't just a little change, it is a drastic change. Unless we fully understand how dark and deep and drastic sin is and it's effect: we can't begin to understand or appreciate or give thanks to God for the wonderful light into which He has brought us". Reverend Michael G. Zwemke, Pastor

I watched the June 21, 2020 sermon video and used it as a Bible study. Here are the scriptures mentioned that should be included when studying the Word. I do encourage you to spend time with God and ask for His wisdom to build a firm foundation for your life!

Jeremiah 20:7-13 (KJV)

O Lord, thou hast deceived me, and I was deceived; thou art stronger than I, and hast prevailed: I am in derision daily, every one mocketh me.

For since I spake, I cried out, I cried violence and spoil; because the word of the Lord was made a reproach unto me, and a derision, daily.

Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay.

10 For I heard the defaming of many, fear on every side. Report, say they, and we will report it. All my familiars watched for my halting, saying, Peradventure he will be enticed, and we shall prevail against him, and we shall take our revenge on him.

11 But the Lord is with me as a mighty terrible one: therefore my persecutors shall stumble, and they shall not prevail: they shall be greatly ashamed; for they shall not prosper: their everlasting confusion shall never be forgotten.

12 But, O Lord of hosts, that triest the righteous, and seest the reins and the heart, let me see thy vengeance on them: for unto thee have I opened my cause.

13 Sing unto the Lord, praise ye the Lord: for he hath delivered the soul of the poor from the hand of evildoers.

Romans 6:12-23 (KJV)

12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.

13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.

16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.

18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

19 I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.

20 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.

21 What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.

22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Matthew 10:5-33 (KJV)

These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:

But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses,

10 Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat.

11 And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, enquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go thence.

12 And when ye come into an house, salute it.

13 And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you.

14 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.

15 Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.

16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

17 But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues;

18 And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles.

19 But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.

20 For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.

21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.

22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

23 But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.

24 The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.

25 It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?

26 Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.

27 What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.

28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

29 Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.

30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.

31 Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.

32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.

33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

Do Not Worry -- Pray Instead!!!

After we put on the rest of our Armor of God, the last piece is to Pray Without Ceasing!

1 Thessalonians 5:16-17
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
How can we pray without ceasing? The first thing we have to do is get the picture of being on our knees, eyes closed, and praying with fancy words out of our mind's eye. That is a type of prayer time that many people think of. However, as part of our continuing walk with the Lord in becoming His disciples, we need to submit time to our prayer life. Okay, I hear the moaning and groaning now: There is no time. We are too busy! I will do it later after (whatever it is you are allowing to come before your commitment to God) is done. This is NOT being stated for shaming! Instead, it is to show how easily we can be, and many times are, distracted from the things we want to do and do the things we shouldn't do instead! Just as Paul tells us of his struggles in Romans 7:15-20.

Let us start the steps of this walk by learning prayer as a habit:
Planning to pray! Here are five times during the day where we can learn the habit of prayer time.
  • First Prayer of the Day: To make it easier, try to get in the habit of saying Good Morning to God and starting out your day in conversation with Him.
  • Three more times during the day: Many of us already pray over our meals thanking God for providing.
  • Last Prayer of the Day: As you are ready for bed, being quiet and reflecting on your day, speak to God about it. Whatever comes to your mind, just say it!
Learn how to talk to God! If I spend a long time in one prayer, I can find my mind wandering and I have to focus again and not get distracted. For this reason, perhaps you might start with shorter prayers. I am not all flowery words although I speak respectfully to the Lord but more as I would speak to a friend in conversation during the day! Do you call your friend on the phone and say 'Good Morn, Thou My Best of Friends! Of course you don't, neither do I! God doesn't need flowery speech that separates Him from us! He wants us to be comfortable talking with Him as friend to friend, not just when we have wants and needs to pray for. Can you imagine what it was like for God to come into the Garden of Eden and have fellowship with Adam & then with Eve? My mind fails me at the wonder of that!

How many times a day do you text your friend? How many times do you call them? Do you think it is a burden to share your day with your friends? Does something wonderful, or something not so great, happen to you and the first thought you have is "I need to tell so and so this? "What would your life be like if the first thought is focused on speaking to God about it? We can view our relationship with God in prayer in a comforting and willing way!

Now that we have that perspective in mind, we need to learn to pray God's Will! It is easier for us to learn to pray about 'Me, Myself, & I' yet it seems more difficult to get our mind around praying God's Will. We are commanded to LOVE our neighbor as ourselves. Let's focus our prayer on speaking to God about others and asking His Will to be done in their lives! If you don't look at prayer for others as a burden, but more like a pleasant opportunity, you will be learning to live these pictured scriptures of Phil 4:8-9.

Heavenly Father, I praise your holy name and my heart is thankful for the times I spend with you! May Holy Spirit touch each heart and mind that are called here. I pray these words help them in any way you choose, Lord. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. In Jesus name. Amen!

Maranatha,
Anna

15For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. 16But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. 17For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them. 18Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower. 19When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side. 20But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; 21Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.
These seeds (words) have fallen on four types of soil (people's hearts). The first three types of soil REJECT the words they hear. Only the fourth, and last, ACCEPT the words and embrace them into their lives.

God has been faithful to give me words to say by way of the Holy Spirit and the boldness, when I ask, to speak / write them. I have been blessed to be shown links to prophecy and updates as well. These are for me to learn by studying the Bible and for me to share them.  Years ago, in July 2015, at a church altar, God gave me a new name of ANNA! Holy Spirit has given me things to post in this blog from that day to this. The blog existed first in 2010 so there are a couple of posts from there that I was allowed to leave up. One, the Three Red Marbles, is also done in a podcast. It is that important to show what God has put on my heart for all these years.

This blog post today is being written with many tears having been shed and with a heavy burden on my heart for PEOPLE TO SEE AND HEAR what is taking place all around us!
  • PLEASE, if you have rejected his call before, ask Jesus into your heart NOW!
  • If you have done this but it has been awhile and you are lukewarm, PLEASE return to the days of your First Love - the day you FIRST met JESUS as your SAVIOR.
  • If you are born again and are on fire for the Lord, PLEASE hear the call of Holy Spirit to get the Good News out while there is yet time to do so!
There are signs all around that follow the prophecies in the Bible that we are MOMENTS away from JESUS' RETURN FOR HIS BRIDE IN THE RAPTURE! Be ready as wise virgins and not sluggish and sleepy as foolish virgins who are asleep when the BRIDEGROOM COMES!

Communion ...

What did Jesus say about it? He did not tell us how often, but he did say to do this in remembrance of him!

John 6:53-58
53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.
54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.
57 As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.
58 This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.

Recently, the Lord blessed me by making a way to partake of Communion at home again! It is such a blessing to remember Jesus each day!

I put on the full armor of God for the spiritual battles each day but the ultimate humbling of my spirit to fight in this war is when I bow at Jesus' feet. Remembering His sacrifice, His blood shed for me, and His death on the cross that I might live eternally with God! Communion helps me remember that my Christian witness is Jesus working through me and it is not about me working for Him. I am an instrument. There is no work, Jesus paid it all. Salvation is freely offered to each of us ... because Jesus chose to make the Ultimate Sacrifice.

When I was working, I would regularly take communion. It helped me to focus and to be anchored in the Lord no matter what the chaos of the day might bring. Since I have retired, I have fallen away from taking communion. I noticed a marked difference, over time, in my ability to stay focused and pray effectively.

I am not required to take communion, remembering Jesus every day. However, in these very evil and dark days, focusing on Jesus and following through as he commanded, gives me a stronger commitment and clearer thinking throughout the day! The early church took communion whenever they ate a meal together!

I am sharing this information because I am supremely blessed! It is my wish for you to be blessed, as well!

Maranatha,
Anna

4 x 4 x 5. . . Yet Boundless

© Anita M. Weld 1996

Throughout each storm,
You are the calm.
To wounded hearts,
You are the balm.
Panoramic--
You see one view.
Microscopic--
Is your view, too!
Our Dimensions
Are four daily.
Your Dimensions--
Infinity!
Our struggle here
Isn't hard to see.
To comprehend
"How vast are Thee?"
We see darkly,
As through a glass.
Yet to know you,
One must but ask.

Resurrection and Ascension

To fully understand Jesus' Resurrection and Ascension, we need to first know what happened with his spirit after the death of his human body. Without this background, there is no way to clearly see what the Bible means when speaking of the Resurrection. Jesus spirit returned from His appointed time in hell and was united with his new body – which was still full of the powerful energy of the Holy Spirit that merged his spirit and body.

Notice Jesus told Mary Magdalene not to touch him as he had not yet ascended to his Father. Looking at the Shroud of Turin, it took mega amounts of energy to make a negative photograph of Jesus earthly body (front and back including his face – which had a separate wrap as well). This power was provided by Holy Spirit to unite Jesus spirit with his resurrected body. Jesus had to go to the Father before anyone could touch him. This is in line with the OT when being in the presence of God. No one could look on God and live: except Moses that God made provision for in Exodus 33:17-23. So also, no one could touch Jesus in his newly resurrected body until he had gone to the Father. Jesus told Mary not to touch him and asked her instead to go tell the disciples that He was returning to His Father. This was to reassure them that he was truly resurrected.

Never before or since has there been a resurrection such as happened to Jesus. The first prophecy in the Bible, Gen 3:15, foretells of his victorious Resurrection. The prophecy of Isaiah 53:10 is understood because of Jesus' resurrection. His resurrection required the power of God. Many infallible proofs, Acts 1:3, have confirmed Jesus death in our place as a substitute for us and God raising him from the dead and exalting him by giving him a name above all names. No one knows what we will be when we are transformed into our glorified bodies, but we do know we will be like Jesus. The resurrection shows us the power of God, but also his mercy, love and grace. He loved us enough to show us mercy by his only begotten son choosing to take our place and pay the cost to reconcile us back to God as our advocate in grace.

Jesus then returned to earth after he received his glorified body and others saw and spoke with him. Doubting Thomas' unbelief was confronted when he was invited to touch Jesus since that is the only way that he would believe.

All relationships with Jesus would now, from this moment, be different than what they had known before. Now He is our Savior. This is a separate and different ascension than that which would be seen by witnesses 40 days later). The Old Testament foretold Jesus Ascension in Psalm 68:18. Paul quoted this scripture in Eph 4:8-10.

Relevant verses concerning Jesus' ascension are John 7:13, John 16:28, John 20:17, John 14:2, John14:12, Mark 16:19, Luke 24:51, and Acts 1:9.

The ascension, when the disciples and others witnessed him Ascending into the clouds to Heaven, is the way Jesus' children will leave this earth with Him in the pre-trib Rapture. They watched until the clouds hid him from sight. When Jesus returns for his children, he will come to the clouds, the shofar will sound, and his children will meet him in the air. This ascension by his children will happen in an instant. The twinkling of an eye is only an instant.

This is not to be confused with his Second Coming, when Jesus will return as the avenging Lion of Judah with all his saints on horseback with him for the Battle of Armageddon. Rev 16:16, Matt 24:21, Isaiah 13:9, Rev 11:15, Rev 16:14, Rev 19:11-21, Rev 12:9, Rev 14:20-24, Rev 19:19-21, Isaiah 13:6, Rev17:1-18, Zec 14:1-21, Luke 21:25, Titus 1:2, Joel 3:12-14.

Continuing on with the background narrative:

After Jesus died on the cross, his body was taken to the borrowed tomb. His face was wrapped in a separate cloth and his body was then wrapped on a shroud. The burial shroud was one solid piece: the body was laid on it then the rest of it went over the head to rest on the front of the body.

In the spirit realm upon his human death, Jesus spirit descended into the part of Hell called Abraham's bosom (Luke 16:22). Jesus told the thief on the cross, when he asked Jesus to remember him, that day he would be with him in Paradise. Paradise was the holding place outside of Hell where the saints that were faithful, from Adam to the thief on the cross, went to wait upon the Christ until his passion and death on the cross were fulfilled. They could see over into Hell and the ones that were tormented (read the accounting of Lazarus the beggar and the Rich Man). Scriptures telling of Jesus in Hell (and what he did there i.e. preaching to the captives, etc.): Eph 4:9, Acts 2:24, 1 Pet 3:19, Hosea 13:14, Zech9:11, and Col 2:15..

When the prophesied three days in hell were completed, Jesus returned with the keys to hell and death. He was victorious in paying the cost of our salvation to reconcile us to God through his blood. The resurrection of his body and the return of Jesus to Father God also fulfilled prophesy.

What is Jesus' Ascension and what does it mean now: His physical ascension into heaven is our example of his victory. He fulfilled the work he was given to do. He was given back his heavenly glory. Father God was very pleased, exalted him and gave him a new name. Eph 1:20-23, Matt 17:5, Phil 2:9. Jesus going to heaven allows him to prepare a place for us, John 14:2 and to begin his work as our High Priest Heb 4:14-16 and New Covenant mediator Heb9:15. Jesus reign over all enemies began 1 Pet 3:22. The church (our body not a building) was now empowered to accomplish our mission. Eph 1:22-23.

Anna
