The Balm of Gilead -

What is the LORD doing now: TODAY

A Word from the LORD: Sunday Morning Service 9/26/2021 

The Balm of Gilead is referenced in three Bible scriptures. They must be taken together to not miss out on the full meaning.

Genesis 37:25

25 And they sat down to eat a meal. Then they lifted their eyes and looked, and there was a company of Ishmaelites, coming from Gilead with their camels, bearing spices, balm, and myrrh, on their way to carry them down to Egypt.  

Jeremiah 8:21-22

21 Since my people are crushed, I am crushed; I mourn, and horror grips me.

22 Is there no balm in Gilead? Is there no physician there? Why then is there no healing for the wound of my people? 

 

Jeremiah 46:11

 

11 "Go up to Gilead and take balm, O virgin, the daughter of Egypt; In vain you will use many medicines; You shall not be cured. 

 

These scripture verses show how valuable and rare the balm made in the region of Gilead truly is. Jeremiah tells us the Balm of Gilead means spiritual health.

Why Is the Balm of Gilead so Important for Christians?

Beginning with the first covenant established in Genesis, The Balm of Gilead is a powerful symbol of Christ’s power in the life of a believer. Once we receive Christ as our Lord and Savior the covenant is sealed. Satan
“seeks to steal, kill, and destroy,” but he knows he has no power over God's children.

"Most well-known for its spices and ointments, Gilead was especially celebrated for the balsam plant or tree which was used to produce its most precious commodity, the Balm of Gilead. This balm could either be applied to cuts, burns and wounds or it could be used in the embalming process to mask the scent of rotting flesh (Luke 23:56). The title, Balm of Gilead, also provides important clues about the process required before being made useful. According to Strong’s Concordance, the Hebrew word for balm, tsoriy, means to crack as pressure, or leak. While the tree no longer exists, the healing resin either had to be forced from the stems and leaves of the plant by piercing them, or the resin leaked from the tree through open pores or wounds." Quoted from this link

Once Saved Always Saved ...

Only one problem, this doctrine is, in fact, completely foreign in the history of Christianity!

It’s Not a Historical Doctrine

The well-known and highly respected Calvinist theologian, John Jefferson Davis wrote an article titled: “The Perseverance of the Saints: A History of the Doctrine” [Journal of Evangelical Theological Society 34:2 (June 1991)]. What I find interesting about this article is that John Jefferson Davis concludes that the doctrine is a new doctrine that has no precedent in history 

John Calvin created this doctrine from a misinterpretation of Saint Augustine's Treatise on the Gift of Perseverance, written around A. D. 429. Augustine believed it was possible to experience the justifying grace of God and yet not persevere to the end.Aug 29, 2016. What would YOU do this VERY MOMENT...

If you KNEW, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that Jesus was coming in the next half hour?

Would you get on your face before the Lord, in intercessory prayer, for the many who are even now lukewarm and/or lost?

How many of us are honestly ready for the Lord to appear at any time of the day or night. Our spirit bears witness with the truth told us by Holy Spirit.

"Lord, I repent of anything I have done to offend You. Please shine a light on the darkness in my heart that I may see it, confess it as sin, and turn away from it with your strength helping me in my weakness. Help me to be obedient with what You have called me to do and say. I witness to family, friends, and continue to tell those that You send across my path each moment that which You would have me to speak. You said I should open my mouth and You would fill it."

The Lord's Return is IMMINENT!!!

"Prepare the Way ...

Hello everyone,
About a week or two ago, I woke up with the words "prepare the way, the Lord is at hand!"
Prepare the way - To make ready beforehand for a specific purpose, as for an event or occasion.
At hand - If something is at hand, near at hand, or close at hand, it is very near in place or time.
The next night I had a dream, about a wedding. In the dream I knew it was an event that has NEVER happened before and would be the first time something like this would be recorded in history! Everyone was talking with excitement about this wedding. All of us who was part of this wedding, was so excited and knew it was extremely special. I was in this massive ball room, and there were white drapings from the roof, with crystal lights, it was all so beautiful. I saw many many brides in this room, but I knew there were other brides all over the world that were also preparing for this wedding day! We were all wearing our corsets, our hair was done and make up. There was a stage in this ball room, and a woman was announcing that the flower girls will do their rehearsals for the actual wedding, I saw many flower girls walking out with their beautiful dresses one after the other. All the brides to be were so overwhelmed and excited to see the flower girls, all ready to go. The woman then made an announcement it's time, that we could all go put on our wedding gowns. The brides all ran with joy to put on their dresses, every bride knew exactly where their gowns were, there were MANY of gowns. There were so much joy, and everyone helped one another with their dresses. I believe this is a dream from God about the bride, and it shows how ready we are, and that it's VERY close. We are about to put on our dresses for our bridegroom! Putting on your dress on wedding day, is the last thing you do before you see your groom. I know a while ago, Rhonda Empson had a dream of these brides preparing for the wedding the next day, and their hair was already done! Now we are are really approaching that moment, where we see our groom.
The next morning I woke up with the word Harpazo, I've never heard of this word before. I googled it and this is the definition: to seize, carry off by force, to seize on, claim for one's self eagerly,to snatch out or away. The word "Rapture" comes from the Latin word "Rapturo", which is simply a translation of the Greek word "Harpazo."
The next night I had the following dream: We were at a gathering, but it wasn't just christians. I was outside, talking to people, the best way I can describe what happened next.. Is there where I was standing on a hill, I looked up because of a strange sound I heard, in the sky. It was like many, many meteors drawing back into the heavens! Then I could see more close up and I saw it was people being raptured. I started shouting to the people around me, that It's the rapture, Jesus is here!! I ran to them and asked if they knew Jesus. Many people were saying no, I started leading them into the sinners prayer, because I knew it was nearly our time to go up. The next scene the sky opened up, and I could see deeper into the heavenly, I saw people hugging each other, they were all so happy to see one another! There were so much joy. I know in real life, it will be in a twinkle of an eye, and there won't be time to lead people into the sinners prayer, and everyone will be raptured at the same time. Brothers and sisters, I really believe this is important and God is showing us how close the rapture is!
The week before that, I dreamed also of the rapture. I heard a weird loud sound and I woke up in my dream, and the sky were all lighted up, and I looked at my husband, we held hands because we knew it was the rapture. We then started lifting up of the bed. I woke myself up, I thought it was really happening!
God is showing us that we as his children, are already prepared to meet Jesus! He's coming for us any moment now!

I am sharing to encourage all of us! We are ambassadors of Jesus and we have lost souls to bring to Him. This is the first time I have heard mention that, during the actual rapture, 'we must not look back.' I feel in my spirit how significant this direction is! As we are being taken away, continue to look up, look at Jesus. Do not look down or around or take your eyes off Jesus and Heaven ... remember Lot's wife!

Five Fundamental of the Faith by JVIM

These 5 are nonnegotiable:

FIVE FUNDAMENTALS OF THE FAITH

1) The Deity of our God Jesus Christ (John 1:1; John 20:28; Hebrews 1:8-9)

2) The Virgin Birth (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:27)

3) The Blood Atonement (Acts 20:28; Romans 3:25, 5:9; Ephesians 1:7; Hebrews 9:12-14)

4) The Bodily Resurrection (Luke 24:36-46; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, 15:14-15)

5) The inerrancy of the scriptures themselves (Psalms 12:6-7; Romans 15:4; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20)

And those who disagree with any of the above doctrines are not Christians at all. Rather, they are the true heretics.  

These five basic doctrines are rooted in God's Word and if you do not believe wholeheartedly with all five, then you are a heretic [Strong's G141].

Titus 3:10 A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;

The time is so very close for our departure. Many people have head not heart knowledge. Some believe they are Christians because they attend church services. Some accept a wide scope of doctrine thinking that they are enlightened. Do not believe that for a second.

Remember, There Will Come A Day

... when we will stand before God and give account of every idle word we have ever spoken. 

Matthew 12:36-37 (KJV)

36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

All who come here and read these words: each person (no matter who they are) is precious to God. Where is the Lord in the condemnation of souls? Those who are lost, deceived, following false teachings; these should be fervently prayed for, not held up to the world to be ridiculed. The Pharisee spirit is one that says 'I am so glad I am not like that other person! I truly know God!'
God gave me these words to share here. Please go to this link, read it and pray about it.

The Pharisee Spirit - still active today

Excerpt: John Fischer, author of the book '12 Steps for the Recovering Pharisee (like me)', writes
'What makes Pharisaical sin so dangerous is that it disguises itself as a form of enlightenment. This is what Jesus meant when he said,
"If the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!" (Matthew 6:23)
The darkness is great because one is deluded into thinking it is light. You think you are seeing better than anyone else, when, in fact, you can't see at all. This means the idea that what you can't see is farthest from you. A blind person knows he is blind. A Pharisee thinks he can see, and this is why the "light" within him is actually darkness.
The mark of Holy Spirit produced 'light' is humility.
So I said: "Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips, And I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, The LORD of hosts." (Isaiah 6:5 )
When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, "Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord!" (Luke 5:8)
Whereas the Pharisee 'light' produces the darkness of spiritual arrogance. They were proud of their righteous behaviour and drew their self worth from their righteous behaviour by setting their righteousness against the sinfulness in others around them.
"The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, 'God, I thank You that I am not like other men-extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this tax collector. (Luke 18:11)
God always opposes the proud (James 4:6) hence Jesus' harsh proclamations of woe to them. End Excerpt.

I give this out of love not condemnation. May we each examine our hearts and our motives that we may be Wise Virgins awaiting our Bridegroom!

The Holy Spirit - We NEED Him!

Jesus himself said so! Notice, He did not ask, Jesus COMMANDED!
Acts 1:4,5
4 And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.
5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.

Who is man that any should contradict GOD and say what was given was temporary and does not operate today? 
I am referring to the cessationism doctrine of lies: 
In Christianity, cessationism is the doctrine that spiritual gifts such as speaking in tongues, prophecy and healing ceased with the original twelve apostles. This is generally opposed to continuationism, which teaches that the Holy Spirit may bestow the spiritual gifts on persons other than the original twelve apostles at any time.

There are churches, big churches regarding number of members, that are in this cessationism camp. I pray for one such mega-church in my area whose pastors and leadership proclaim the gospel but deny the power thereof. 

2 Timothy 3:5

Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

There are many with the 'pharisee spirit', not just in the real world, but on YouTube especially, so be watchful! Take special care if you see this type of comment in their 'belief statement' based on scriptures that are isolated to support this lie (Satan is the one that doesn't want you to know of the Power! Pharisee spirit is the one that perpetrates this lie ... even today!): 
We believe that some gifts of the Holy Spirit such as speaking in tongues and miraculous healings were temporary. We believe that speaking in tongues was never the common or necessary sign of the baptism nor of the filling of the Spirit, and that the deliverance of the body from sickness or death awaits the consummation of our salvation in the resurrection. (Acts 4:8, 31; Romans 8:23; 1 Corinthians 13:8.)

Understanding the Pharisee spirit

Pharisees did not move in the gifts and anointing power of the Spirit, had no understanding of the gifts and anointing power of the Spirit, and therefore concluded that anyone who did had to be moving in demonic power.

Now when the Pharisees heard it they said, "This fellow does not cast out demons except by Beelzebub, the ruler of the demons." (Matthew 12:24)

A very, very dangerous thing to say, Jesus warned them.

"Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men. (Matthew 12:31)

When Jesus healed the man with the withered hand in church, they attacked Him for doing it on the Sabbath.

And behold, there was a man who had a withered hand. And they asked Him, saying, "Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?" that they might accuse Him. (Matthew 12:10)

Time is short and, as a watchman called by the Lord, I give this warning, not to lift up myself, but to lift up the Holy One and reveal the truths He makes known to me and other watchmen. Your blood will not be on my hands due to my disobedience in sharing this Word of Warning!

Perhaps you are aware ... perhaps not

Fullness of Time of Gentiles is drawing to a close. 
Romans 11:25 “For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that hardening in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.”

I don't watch TV: no that DOES NOT make me better than anyone else! I have found it to be a waste of time and there is no truth to be found anywhere except in God's Word! 
2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

That said, I did have a couple things come to attention today.

The days are becoming darker. Pray to close these doors the enemy is working to open by praying God's protection back to Him: Psalm 91. Ask God to deliver you from evil.

Knowledge share of word meanings:
Portals [Strong's G2374] are doors, created by God as entrances and exits. Used by spiritual beings - holy angels and fallen angels.
CERN is trying to mix the natural realm with the spiritual realm regarding portals. Satan has influenced men and women to work to open portals that God never intended to be opened.

Isaiah 55:6 

Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:

The message to you who are not saved is John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

The message to you who are saved is Matthew 24:45-47 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? 46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. 47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.

Please, let His Servants be about Our Father's business! Maranatha!

"My daughter, write My words. My children, you must be filled with and even walk in the overflowing of my Holy Spirit in these final days. My Holy Spirit will allow for you to discern between good and evil. He will allow for you to read the minds of the enemies that will be surrounding you. He will always lead you to safety and keep you one step ahead of evil. He will never leave you or forsake you and He will always make the best choice no matter what you face. Many believe in Me but they do not receive My Holy Spirit - they still rely on their 'flesh' to direct their lives, their path and their thought patterns. When presented with pure evil these children of Mine will crumble. They will not call upon my Holy Spirit for guidance because they understand not the power of His presence. They have a glimpse of who I am but they do not grasp the power of knowing Me. I implore all who believe in My atonement for their sins to also receive and walk with My Holy Spirit in the forefront of their minds, especially with the things to come. Before I receive My children unto Myself you will all face fear of one kind or another - call My Name and rely on the peace that comes from My indwelling. When you do not discern and receive My power through My Holy Spirit you are left to battle evil in your flesh and in your flesh you are no match for the evil that is to come. My children, place My armor on found in Ephesians 6.11 every day. Speak My Word out loud often and pray in My Spirit constantly. Do not let My guard down. Keep the indwelling of My Holy Spirit at the level of overflowing all of the time. Never dabble outside My Will. I see how hard this is for some, but when you begin to lean on the power of the Holy Spirit and not on the power of your flesh you will see My miracles in your lives first-hand. I love you My children. Allow NOTHING to keep you from seeking My indwelling".

But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

Be sober and vigilant as we await our Bridegroom! May we meet face-to-face in Heaven!

Rapture is SOON ....

let us be prepared, ready and watchful!  We do not have long! 

One word of caution - for all who read this ... if you do not believe or agree with this teaching - God gives us free will - you won't receive what you won't believe or ask for. However ... DO NOT speak against Holy Spirit! Do not grieve Holy Spirit: this is the unpardonable sin Luke 12:10.
