The Days are EVIL!

The greatest defense in our lives is the PRESENCE of God. Just a little bit of light drives out the darkness. 

Therefore, it is not just rebuking demons that drives them away. It is the manifest presence of Holy Spirit in our lives: showing Himself in holiness and obedience to God. The more we enter His presence, to stay and just minister to Him, He pours out His love in each of us so we can be more like Him.  When we spend time with Jesus in worship, prayer, reading and thinking on His Word, and listening for His voice in our spirit: that is when attacks the enemy has sent against us will be removed.

If you detect that a root of bitterness has formed, [if you feel anger: repent immediately and ask God to remove it right then] it is poison to you. 

Unforgiveness is Poison in Your Heart's Garden ... forgive as you have been forgiven!

Anything done in the darkness will be brought to the light:

Ephesians 5:13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.
John 3:20
Everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come into the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed.
Ephesians 5:12
For it is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret.

THE SHELTER OF GOD AGAINST WITCHCRAFT excerpt from book: The Divine Antidote by Francis Frangipane

Excerpt: When the enemy seeks to bring us to a place of strife with one or more people, we must discern this as a plot to keep us all from something good that God intended for us. Thus, when at odds with someone, we must turn quickly to intercession for that specific person. This prayer posture must expand beyond our immediate church relationships and grow into a citywide church concept. If we are to be effective in resisting the enemy, we must corporately become a house of prayer.
Lord, we ask You to grant us the gift of discernment. Forgive us for judging one another and for failing to see the work of the enemy, who seeks to divide us. Father, we submit to the mind of Christ, we ask for His perception, that we would have insight into what You are doing in the church. Lord, we also ask for boldness to defend one another from the voice of suspicion and accusation. Help us, Lord, to pray when we hear a rumor, to stand in the gap when we see a fault, to become a house of prayer for the church in this city. In Jesus name. Amen.

I submit below 'facts' that I have seen / lived in my lifetime. I am not ancient ... but I am a member of the Baby Boomer Generation. Though the days have become even more evil, God has not changed. He remains the same yesterday, today and forever.

On my heart is a book that I was assigned to read in 8th grade English class.  I could not tell you what triggered this but today I purchased the kindle edition of 'The Cross and the Switchblade' by David Wilkerson - first published in 1962. The only other book I can remember being assigned to read in Mrs. Underwood's English class that year was 'The Outsiders' by S.E. Hinton - first published in 1967. Movies have been made of both of these books ... but that is not what is unique or what has my heart feeling so heavy.

I was in 8th grade in 1968-1969. The Cross and the Switchblade is a TRUE story about a country preacher who went to New York to minister/witness to the youth there: drug addicts, prostitutes, the gang culture, whomever God brought across his path. Yes, back then school was allowed to assign reading that talked about God and witnessed to His saving grace through a humble preacher. I recommend you read it. It is as relevant today as it was when it was written, 54 years ago.

This information was given in January 2010. It has to do with 'banned books' and I believe you will be as shocked as I was. If you click on the podcast link below, there are reference links on that site to substantiate what is said there.

Does something like this ever cross your mind: How big is God, really?
Have you, or have you seen others, try to fit God into a 'box'? God wants us to know Him! He is delighted when we ask to 'see' Him. Why would I say that? Remember when Moses asked to see God? God hid Moses in the cleft of the rock (the rock is a foreshadowing of Jesus). If you read this, ask Holy Spirit to explain it to you. Exodus 33 He loves to teach us!

When God answers prayers ... it is a sad tendency of people to go back to being complacent! Their forward momentum is stopped. As though they have 'arrived' and nothing else is required. Brothers and Sisters, this could not be further from the truth! God is looking for repentance and true change in the hearts of the American people. This is only the first step. We must continue in fervent prayer for God's Will to be done on earth as it is in Heaven!

Are We Believing God's Promises ...

Abba, Father, we come into Your Majestic Presence with Thanksgiving. We enter into Your courts with Praise! We say this is the day that You have made: we will Rejoice and be glad in it! Holy, Holy, Holy are you Lord! Blessed be the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come. King of Kings and Lord of Lords! We thank you for answering the prayers of your children, as we prayed for Your Man to win this election: Trump/Pence President/Vice President-elect. We continue to stand in the gap for our nation. Lord, please accept our personal repentance and help us to pray Your Will even more effectively with the short time left to us. Please continue to remind us that we are your warriors, servants, the salt and light on this earth with responsibilities in these positions. Holy Spirit, I ask that you strengthen each of us to stand boldly and proclaim the Gospel of Jesus that men will hear and turn from their wicked choices to embrace Jesus' sacrifice. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen!
