ARE YOU LEAD BY YOUR EMOTIONS ...

OR ARE YOU LEAD BY GOD? DO YOU SAY POOR PITIFUL ME? OR DO YOU TAKE RESPONSIBILITY?

When life or people disappoint us, we have a responsibility to remain stable and continue with God's purpose for our lives.
Consider Psalm 94:12-13. Notice that it does not say that God keeps us calm. It says HE GIVES US POWER to keep ourselves calm. We are partners with God. DID YOU HEAR THAT??? His part is to give us ability and our part is to be responsible.
Let me scream that part...
OUR PART IS TO BE RESPONSIBLE!
Responsibility means 'to respond to the ability we have.' An irresponsible person wants God to do everything while he does nothing except follow his feelings. But don't let your feelings run the show. Declare out loud right now, "I have attended my last pity party." I can promise you: in the end you will feel much better about yourself if you take responsibility than if you avoid it.
God cares for you, but He won't do your part. He enables you to do it, but let me emphasize that He won't do it for you! HE WON'T DO IT FOR YOU PEOPLE! I dare you to stand firm, take responsibility and begin working with God to have the blessed life He's planned for you.
It says in Psalm 94:12-13...
"Blessed is the one you discipline, Lord, the one you teach from your law; you grant them relief from days of trouble, till a pit is dug for the wicked."
God, Your Word says that You've given me the ability to remain calm. I receive that today. I won't let my feelings run my life, and I will be responsible and respond the way You want me to.

Background for this Word of Wisdom:
'Had me an awesome 2:30am/can’t sleep talk with God study!! Sooo here ya go..."
This was given to Shona Warren and she gave me permission to share this awesome Word. God's Word does not return to him void but accomplishes what He plans for it to do Isaiah 55:11. Thank you, Shona, for being obedient, for being humble, and for having listening ears and a loving heart for God!

In Humble Obedience,
Anna

God's Ways Are Not Our Ways ...

His thoughts are not our thoughts.
We should never presume to speak for God: He is so high above us! So many times we have all heard someone tell others what God thinks / what God does ... seriously?!! We are not, and never will be, equal with God and know His heart and mind fully! He will have mercy on whom He will have mercy!

Isaiah 55:8-9
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Romans 9:15
For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.

Instead of condemning and putting people down, why not lift them up to Jesus instead? Put away your judgments. Put away your anger. Put away your hate. Ask God to heal your heart and to show you How to pray for His Children!

Please spend time with God today and ask for His love for people. For Him to place people on your heart to pray for and lift up to Him.
John 1:5
And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

Fear God & Keep His Commandments

Life in light of Eternity:
Life is lived not only for this life but also for eternity, knowing that good will be rewarded and evil will be condemned perfectly by the God who will bring you into judgment.

In Ecclesiastes, literally, Solomon spoke of the judgment, referring to our great accountability before God. So, let us understand how one should proclaim God's truth:
- Should teach the people knowledge.
- Should seek to find acceptable words.
- Should seek to bring forth that which is upright - words of truth.
- Should make our words as goads and well-driven nails, with point and direction.
- Should bring forth the words given by one Shepherd.
- Should realize that good study is wearisome to the flesh and be willing to pay that price.

Ecclesiastes 12:13-14
13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

Matthew Henry Ecclesiastes Ch 12 Commentary
I. The summary of religion. Setting aside all matters of doubtful disputation, to be religious is to fear God and keep his commandments.
1. The root of religion is fear of God reigning in the heart, and a reverence of his majesty, a deference to his authority, and a dread of his wrath. Fear God, that is, worship God, give him the honour due to his name, in all the instances of true devotion, inward and outward. See Rev. 14:7.
2. The rule of religion is the law of God revealed in the scriptures. Our fear towards God must be taught by his commandments (Isa. 29:13), and those we must keep and carefully observe. Wherever the fear of God is uppermost in the heart, there will be a respect to all his commandments and care to keep them. In vain do we pretend to fear God if we do not make conscience of our duty to him.
II. The vast importance of it: This is the whole of man; it is all his business and all his blessedness; our whole duty is summed up in this and our whole comfort is bound up in this. It is the concern of every man, and ought to be his chief and continual care; it is the common concern of all men, of their whole time. It is nothing to a man whether he be rich or poor, high or low, but it is the main matter, it is all in all to a man, to fear God and do as he bids him.
